I just don’t see it as politically tenable that you abdicate the border and negotiate the fix you could have done yourself anyway to fund Ukraine and fund Israel. I’m saying that removed from the fact that I like funding Israel and like funding Ukraine.

This is a clear case of not wanting to fix the border so Trump can run on it. Or, to be even more succinct of being Trump’s little b*tches. They were for it until Trump wasn’t. Now they are not for it either. There is an alt-right word for this–cucks.
Seriously, there is no rigidity here at all. One month they are for this bill and all it contains, and then they are completely opposed to it. The only thing that has changed is that Trump told them to bend over….
