See, the universe can’t be simming a sim right

So, hitting the good fastball…. Ball is leaping large distances between frames, and the ability of the hitter to time the ball is made possible by the brain filling in the gaps…. Brain having filled in scenes without the eyes having taken a picture. Brain is simming and modeling at that point, but if the universe is a sim, they are simming and modeling against the output of a sim itself.

You gonna believe that, and the possibility as well that the brain and the eyes might not actually exist either and are a figment of the sim… or do you believe that the guy on the mound is real and you’ve got to clear your mind and get the bat in the right spot to hit his fastball.

Can one consciously clear their mind if it’s all a sim?

See, baseball proves the universe is real.

your argument is based on the assumption that creating that kind of a simulation would be too difficult–which is based on an assumption that the authors/creators of such a possible simulation have abilities that are somewhat similar to ours. Maybe creating that kind of a simulation is incredibly easy for them. We wouldn’t know that, would we?

Brain is part of the sim, clearing the brain is part of the sim, the universe is part of the sim, everything we know and do is part of that sim, that sim is our reality, as is our speculating about it being a sim in the first place. The sim has you thinking about the possibility of there being a sim.

We are a part of the sim, not something separate from the sim.
