Back to reality: let’s not pretend Trump is going to win the general election

For serious people, this thing is about too painful to watch. Trump is awful, there’s not a critique of his awfulness that isn’t true, but what I get back to at this time is the nature of the competitive matchup.  The wisdom there is, amateurs don’t beat pros.  You look at sports / conflict / elections for David v Goliath outcomes, they are all explainable in hindsight.  And the evaluation that you grasp when you look back to see how an amateur beat a pro, is the amateurs were almost universally ‘pretty good’ in their qualitative being, and on a path of ascension…

We’re not going to be able to say that about Donald Trump and his people, K…  Not pretty good, not on a path of ascension.  They can’t beat a pro opponent in this realm.

8/2/16 Zingy 2016 General Election Win Chance %:

Clinton – 59%

Trump – 41%
