I have my doubts what she says is true

Hillary: ‘We struggled’ to make ends meet after leaving the White House

It leaves the discerning voter in a tough spot.  Doesn’t seem truthy, yet we know that Democrats never lie.  What to believe, what to believe….

She may think she’s running now, but I’m not sure she actually gets out of the gate.  It takes a certain amount of ambulatory wellness to run for President when you’re social security age.  Romney had it in spades.  Reagan was very healthy.  McCain was borderline, as was Dole.

I’m not sure Hillary reaches a minimum threshold for being ambulatory.

This is a hard one to say true or false on. after all, financial hardship is relative. But I do think it shows that she is out of touch w/ “normal” people. Of course, that is pretty common for high government officials–remember bush 1 and the grocery store scanner? It is extremely hard for anyone in that position to keep a “common” perspective.

I think it’s an easy one to say false on. They bought their house in Chappaqua, NY in 2000 for 1.7 mil. Mr. Clinton earned $400k salary through 2000 and then started taking a pension that’s what, $200k? in 2001. Mrs. Clinton won a Senate seat in 200 that pays what, $160k?

Say maybe they used most of their liquid assets for a downpayment and were sort of living ‘check to check’. Yes, I understand the idea of ‘scale’ particularly to someone with the expenses of that lifestyle. But that ain’t ‘we struggled’. I really doubt there was a time where they told the maid to wait until payday to go to the grocery store.

That Bush supermarket scanner story was bogus:
